Background Thing

Desktop bg for myself. It's far from perfect, but it's definitely the most substantial thing I've ever drawn as far as backgrounds go. I learned a lot with this.
This originally wasn't gonna really be connected to anything, but it sort of gave me the idea to actually pull my OCs away from the regular modern thing and maybe go for something more like this? Kind of like a scenario where the Earth's protectors were unable to save it from being destroyed, but were still able to preserve some life that managed to thrive on it, leaving them in this environment of what's left of Earth. I'm gonna make it kind of on the cusp of them adapting to this life (Basically just beginning to use their technology to be able to advance in this world just bc it adds an extra layer of,,,, idk urgency? To the situation). It's also kind of an AU where this is actually in the present, but y'know. World's all wrecked up.
